Dodik forgives debts of Russian buyers of the oil industry

Njeftegazinkor, the buyer of the Bosanski Brod Oil Refinery, Modriča Oil Refinery and Petrol Banja Luka, will never fulfill the obligations from the basic privatization agreement, such as production and sales volumes, as stated in one of the official documents of the Government of Republika Srpska, reports the Patria News Agency.

Justifying the non-fulfillment of Njeftegazinkor's obligations, the then Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of RS, Željko Kovačević, proposed to the Government to adopt the Second Annex to the basic share sale agreement, which would cancel the obligations of the Russian partner, from the crude oil processing volume to the obligation to build the Bosanski Brod-Modriča railway worth several tens of millions of euros.

The Government of Republika Srpska, hiding from the public, adopted Annex II of the agreement in 2013, thereby practically "amnesty" the Russian partner from fulfilling some of the most significant conditions for the sale of the oil industry of Republika Srpska, writes capital.ba.
