Dodik: Staged Political Conspiracy of Bosniaks and Western Countries, I Am Not Afraid of Arrest

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that he is not at all afraid of arrest, nor of the alleged financial investigation by the BiH Prosecutor's Office against him, assessing that it is a staged political conspiracy aimed at undermining Republika Srpska, reports the Patria news agency.

Dodik emphasized that it is a classic political persecution, as individuals have been criminalizing him for years with various fabrications and without any evidence.

"I have no problem with the law. Upon returning from Macedonia, for who knows how many times, I read the news that I would be arrested, that my house and bank accounts would be searched. Believe me, after that I slept peacefully like a baby for about eight hours. So, that's how much the announcement scared me," Dodik told the Belgrade daily "Informer."

The President of Republika Srpska stated that his political opponents can freely send investigators from all over the world, but they will not find anything objectionable.

"I have not committed any criminal offense. For years, all international intelligence agencies have been monitoring me, but they have never found anything against me," said Dodik.

He noted that the Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo investigated the sale of state properties four years ago and dropped it because there were no irregularities.

According to him, this is a continuation of Bosniak policy, supported by Western embassies, whose goal is to undermine Republika Srpska.

"A staged political conspiracy. In Sarajevo, the Ottoman policy of 'the judge who accuses you is the judge who judges you' still applies. Since I am not a subject of the West, nor a war criminal, now they want to present me as a criminal. But I pay no heed... The people elected me, and it will be so until they change their minds," Dodik concluded.
