Dodik angry at workers for not being ready to reduce salaries: Is it possible we have lost solidarity

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik was taken aback today after trade unions in RS said they were not ready to reduce salaries in this BiH entity.

- Is it possible that we have lost all forms of solidarity? If trade unions aspire to preserve jobs, then minimal salary adjustments are the best way - Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka.

The BiH entity of Republika Srpska is indebted by more than 5.4 billion KM, which has exceeded the debt limit of 60 percent of GDP. In the total amount of internal debt of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which in 2016 amounted to about 4 billion KM, Republika Srpska participates with 63.99 percent, FBiH with 35.74 percent, and Brčko District with 0.27 percent.

At the same time, it is estimated that Dodik is the richest politician in the region, who owns valuable real estate in BiH and Serbia, writes Patria.
