
(Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik spoke in Minsk with the Prime Minister of Belarus, Sergey Rumas.
Chairman Dodik and Prime Minister Rumas assessed that it is necessary to improve cooperation between BiH and Belarus, and that all prerequisites exist for this. The interlocutors particularly emphasized the need for economic, industrial, and cultural cooperation, pointing to the huge tourism potential of both BiH and Belarus, where opportunities for successful cooperation for mutual benefit are opening up.
Dodik said that it is a great honor for him to visit Belarus, and that he is impressed by the capital city of Minsk, which he briefly toured upon arrival.
The meeting was also attended by the advisor to the BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović, Damir Džanko, and the advisor to the BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić, Slaven Kovačević.
Chairman Dodik arrived at Minsk airport earlier today, where he was welcomed with the highest state honors. He was welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Lyashenko, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Vladimirovich, and the Ambassador of Belarus to BiH based in Budapest, Alexander Ponomarev. An honor guard was also lined up for the arrival of the Serb member and Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik.
