SARAJevo, (Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik is a politician who is "read exclusively between the lines". Today he stated that this BiH entity will suspend any activities on the implementation of the MAP (Membership Action Plan) program for BiH.
In the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005, a decision on MAP was made, which Dodik's SNSD also voted for. At that time, the path of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards NATO was agreed upon.
No declaration of the RS entity Assembly can be valid because MAP was signed by all three parties at the state level, so any unilateral action is unacceptable. Less than half of the country cannot prevent Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to NATO. And the decisions of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot be changed so arbitrarily.
Dodik first imposed the activation of MAP on RS, and now he wants to return to the starting positions via the same path. He then says: "NATO alliance supports only one side in BiH, the Bosniak side, and RS will reject all proposals, regardless of it being the NATO alliance".
It is not about NATO's support, but support for BiH's path to NATO membership. Therefore, Dodik reveals to us that he is aligned with the SNSD option and Dragan Čović's HDZ. Judging by this, Dodik has received an official stance that HDZ is against NATO, just like SNSD.
Therefore, this is a clearer option within HDZ. Is this dictated from Zagreb, and why does the Republic of Croatia, which controls HDZ BiH, as a NATO member, support positions against NATO in BiH?
Dodik then stated that "military property of RS is being taken away, primarily barracks, which was attempted through the BiH Court, by taking away property in Han Pijesak". There is no taking away of military property; these are legal solutions, and due to illegal actions in RS, matters are being resolved before the judiciary.
Dodik completed his absurd statements after meeting with the Minister of Defense of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, saying "that RS does not want to have a border on the Drina, which would also be the border of some military alliances". Dodik speaks of "borders of some military alliances" on the Drina. What does that mean? Is this about Serbia's true neutrality, or is it about Serbia joining some new military alliance, evidently a Russian bloc? Dodik is truly a politician for "reading between the lines".
This time too, as the key argument for his destructive behavior, Dodik said that NATO bombed the Serbian people. He does not mention, of course, the verdicts of international courts, the International Court of Justice and the Hague Tribunal, which condemned Republika Srpska as an entity of crime. He is the president of an ethnically cleansed territory of crimes against humanity and the crime of genocide.
