Dodik: Croats united with Muslims and are now paying the price for their hatred towards Serbia

BELGRADE, (Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, told Serbian television Prva TV that he will be elected a member of the BiH Presidency in the upcoming elections in October this year.

He added that "Republika Srpska has all the elements of statehood - territory, government, people, and as such is a guarantee of the freedom of the Serbian people."

Appearing on this television, he said that he had asked the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, not to separate the issue of Kosovo from the issue of Republika Srpska.

When asked if he had discussed with Vučić the possibility of RS pursuing independence, Dodik said that Serbia is a serious country, and Vučić is a serious statesman, and that Serbia's official position is to respect Dayton and BiH composed of two entities and three peoples, and that this dominates their conversations.

- Vučić clearly states that he respects Dayton and the territorial integrity of BiH, but also that no one can prevent him from protecting the right of Republika Srpska according to the Constitution and that Serbia loves Srpska - emphasized Dodik.

Regarding Vučić's visit to Croatia, Dodik said that Vučić showed in Croatia that he is not afraid to come and face the problem, and that it is important that he takes into account the interests of Republika Srpska in discussions about regional issues.

He said he was not aware that the meeting between Vučić and President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović discussed the redefinition of relations in BiH, but he was completely sure that Vučić, regardless of the topic, presented Serbian strategic interests at that meeting.

- Croats have a problem because they are majorized in BiH. Here, I give them consent for a third entity, but they still can't. The problem is with history, because the Croats united with the Muslims when they declared the independence of BiH, now they are paying the price for their hatred towards Serbia and everything that is Serbian - stated Dodik.
