Dodik spent $30 million to undermine BiH: Why isn't the FBiH budget funding the lawsuit review?

Thirty million dollars in recent years, according to Voice of America, was paid by Milorad Dodik for lobbying services in the US to buy influence. Given the policy Dodik has pursued in the last decade, it is clear that $30 million was spent to undermine the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes Patria.

The money spent by Dodik and his SNSD colleagues is from the budget, the money of all citizens of this country. Our pockets have thus financed a campaign whose ultimate goal is the destruction of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Logically, if Dodik used the RS Government's money for his political activities in the US, why can't 10 percent, or $3 million, be allocated from the FBiH Government's budget to fund the review of BiH's lawsuit against Serbia? This question should be raised as soon as possible by the BiH Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović, who is the only one with full legitimacy regarding the lawsuit. 

So, money from our pockets can be spent on attacks against the state, but not for the justice that this state and all its citizens who were victims of the Belgrade regime led by Slobodan Milošević deserve.

The lawsuit of BiH against Serbia, filed in 1993, was funded for years with money collected worldwide into the "Justice for BiH" Foundation. Although it was not a lawsuit of one nation, but a lawsuit of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina against the then Milošević's Serbia and his regime (former FR Yugoslavia), it was never funded from the budget.

Therefore, Dodik is lavishly spending taxpayer money on lobbying against BiH, and for his independent "RS state".

The president of the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, Murat Tahirović, told the Patria news agency that it would be logical for the FBiH Government to fund the review of BiH's lawsuit against Serbia in that case, because everything for which the then Belgrade regime was sued was experienced firsthand by the Croat people and Others, not just Bosniaks.

- It would be interesting to put this on the FBiH Government's agenda, and then we will see what the stance of the ministers from HDZ BiH will be. Everyone is silent about how Dodik is spending all of our money to undermine this country. Why wouldn't they then provide money from the budget for the lawsuit review and help continue this country's fight for right and justice, explains Tahirović.
