Dodik: BiH budget to be considered at tomorrow's BiH Presidency session

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said that the budget of BiH institutions for 2022 will be considered at tomorrow's BiH Presidency session.

Dodik stated on Twitter that during this session, he will seek through an amendment the allocation of an additional 800,000 KM for the implementation of the General Elections.

The BiH Council of Ministers yesterday adopted the Draft Budget for 2022, as well as a decision securing 9.7 million KM for holding the General Elections in October this year.

"The BiH Council of Ministers, at the proposal of the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury, adopted the Decision on approving the temporary use of part of the funds from licenses for the use of the radio frequency spectrum for providing services via mobile access systems. The decision approves the amount of 9,728,000 KM to the Central Election Commission for the implementation of the general elections," it was announced from the BiH Council of Ministers.

The decision implies that the Communications Regulatory Agency (RAK) will lend 9.7 million KM to the BiH Central Election Commission, which will be returned after the budget for 2022 is finally adopted.

Today, the decision on financing the elections was imposed by the High Representative Christian Schmidt, and 12.52 million KM will be allocated to them.
