Boy who committed suicide in Dobrinja sat in the building entrance for hours

A day after the tragic event in which a minor (15) lost his life by jumping from the 8th-floor window of a building entrance in Dobrinja, only a few details are emerging, writes the BH news agency Patria.

Namely, as tenants from Branislava Nušića street 166 told Patria, the boy did not live in that building entrance at all.

- What we know is that he sat on the stairs for a while and smoked cigarettes. At one point, he lit his school backpack, and then he opened the window and jumped. It's sad that a young life ends like this - says one of the tenants on condition of anonymity.

According to some information, the boy allegedly had problems with grades at school, and he chose this building entrance because a window can be opened from the entrance. Otherwise, it is a newly built building in the Dobrinja 5 settlement.

Given that he is a minor, more official details, nor the boy's identity, have been released, but by all accounts, the boy decided on the worst possible move. We will probably never know the real reasons and why he decided to end his life in this way.

All that remains is to hope that young people, before deciding on radical actions, will seek help even when they think there is no other way out.
