Dizdarević for N1: The issue of BiH will be resolved by an agreement between America and Russia

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After 33 soldiers were killed in an airstrike in Syria, Ankara blamed the forces of the Syrian government supported by Russia for the bombing and announced retaliation. NATO held an emergency session yesterday, and the Turks announced they would not stop refugees at the borders.

Zlatko Dizdarević, a former journalist and diplomat, spoke to N1 about everything. Numerous media outlets reported on the "shocking attack". When asked if this "shocks" him, he said: "I am shocked by their fake shock because I knew from the beginning where this was going. I constantly recall the words of Gaddafi in recent years, who said: You are idiots, when I and those like me are gone, the world will be flooded with millions of refugees, the Mediterranean will be a sea of blood, and you will not know what to do with yourselves.".

Dizdarević described how he sees the context of the events in this region.

"I must ask what the context for the whole story is: By what right is Turkey in Syria? Did Turkey attack Syria? No. Did Syria attack Turkey? No. By what right does the army of one country enter another country and threaten the army of that country not to continue liberating its territories, otherwise they will militarily crush them?", he says and adds:

According to him, "the problem is not that the international order has been destroyed, but that we have become accustomed to it.".

He points out that Turkey has an ambition to divide Syria and take a part for itself. 

“A year ago, there was an agreement between the USA and Turkey to create a zone and for Syrian refugees to return to that zone, where they would open Turkish schools, mosques, and the like, which would create a Turkish zone in Syria in 20 years and then one day lead to secession,” says Dizdarević. 

He adds that the essential story from the agreement between Russia, Turkey, and Iran was to create a buffer zone, and that Turkey undertook to eliminate terrorists in the buffer zone…

“However, Turkey has not realized this agreement for more than a year. Russia did everything to avoid a conflict between the Turkish and Syrian armies. The problem is that at the beginning, Turkey, with Erdogan, opted for cooperation with terrorists, providing them with assistance, and now they are in conflict with them,” concludes Dizdarević. "All that is happening in the Middle East is for two reasons: 1. energy geostrategy; 2. space geostrategy," Dizdarević told N1.

He states that the key issue is also who will organize the transport of gas from Qatar to Europe, while Iraq, Iran, and Syria wanted to transport oil from Iran along the same route.

“The issue of Turkish and Erdogan's ambitions extends to the Mediterranean, where gas and oil have been found. Libya and Israel also have rights to that. Where did the three Turkish drones shot down in Libya come from? Things are not about Erdogan saving refugees, that's a completely different story,” says Dizdarević. 

Commenting on the migrant crisis in BiH, Dizdarević points out that we cannot cope because we are disorganized. 

“The border for migrants is between BiH and Croatia. The essence is that if the money spent on migrants were spent on resolving the conflicts in Syria, the crisis would be resolved. These refugees are a source of labor in the West, but someone miscalculated,” believes Dizdarević. 

Speaking about the political situation in BiH and Independence Day, Dizdarević says that we in BiH will reach an agreement when we "bring back sense, logic, honesty, and knowledge to the top.". 

“When we realize that it is beneficial to work for common goals, not for the goals of individuals, groups, and parties. Today we are living in complete political and educational degeneration. We have neither an internal nor an external policy,” says the former diplomat. 

Speaking about the international community, he says that "the international community will react when their interests are threatened.". 

“Things will be settled the moment the Americans and Russians agree, and work is already being done on that. It's about what will be exchanged for Ukraine, Serbia, and so on. Then some new small players will be introduced who will work for their interests,” concluded Dizdarević.
