DITA: Preparation for production begins at Tuzla factory

-Industry is alive as long as there are workers ready to fight for their basic right - the right to work, stated DITA workers' representative Emina Busuladžić, reports the Patria News Agency.

Last week, workers cleaned and washed the facilities, lubricated the machines, and as of yesterday, June 8, 66 workers have started preparing for the production of the first three products. 

DITA is slowly reviving, all thanks to the good cooperation between the Trade Union and the bankruptcy administrator. Engineers who returned to the laboratory are working on product preparation. Initially, the liquid products line will be launched, while the powdered products line will wait until the damage is repaired.

The final decision on the continuation of production depends on the Creditors' Assembly, which is scheduled for June 30. At that time, all those to whom DITA owes money on any basis will make a decision about the fate of the factory and the workers.

An action to help DITA workers has also been launched on social networks with the message 'buy domestic products', and it is gaining more and more publicity every day.
