Touching story from Rijeka: Kittens got stuck in a car engine, firefighters rescued them

(Patria) - Firefighters once again showed with a humane gesture that their job is not just about extinguishing fires.

This time in Rijeka, they intervened to save four small kittens that got stuck in the engine compartment of a car.

The kittens were successfully rescued, and after the rescue, they were immediately transported to a veterinary clinic, where they were cared for and are now safe.

The Public Firefighting Unit of Rijeka states that every intervention is important, no matter how "small" it may seem.

"Every life is important, no matter how small, it deserves a chance, care, and love," they stated.

Employees of the veterinary clinic and salon Njuška also participated in the kitten rescue operation, to whom the firefighters expressed special thanks for their cooperation, helpfulness, and care for the animals.
