
(Patria) - Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Enes Karić and his deputies Đuro Knežević and Goran Amidžić received for an inaugural visit the newly appointed attachés for internal affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in BiH, Mr. Hulusi Alkan and Mr. Ferhat Kuran.
Director Karić wished the guests a happy start to their service in BiH and informed them about the responsibilities of the Directorate and its future work. Furthermore, he expressed gratitude for the continuous support of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in BiH, especially regarding the organization of training for police officers, and the exchange of knowledge and best practices in
various areas of police work.
The interlocutors discussed modalities for improving cooperation, and joint activities were agreed upon with the aim of exchanging experiences and best practices, especially in the areas of direct protection of VIP persons and facilities.
Attaché Hulusi Alkan emphasized that he is aware of the successful cooperation that the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in BiH has achieved so far with the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH and expressed his belief that the cooperation will continue in the future.
