Director of the Agricultural Payments Agency Damaged RS Budget by 5 Million KM

Police officers of the Criminal Police Sector of the Banja Luka Public Security Centre have submitted a report on a committed criminal offense of dereliction of duty to the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor's Office, against M.O. (1961) from Banja Luka, writes the Patria news agency.

M.O. is suspected that, in his capacity as director of the Agricultural Payments Agency from Banja Luka, in 2012, by conscious and continuous violation of the Rulebook on the conditions and manner of realizing monetary incentives for the development of agriculture and villages, he made monthly decisions for payments of various monetary amounts - premiums for three companies from the Republic of Srpska.

The companies did not meet the conditions stipulated by the Rulebook because they had not settled their obligations from the previous period to the Agricultural Payments Agency, the competent ministry, and a public enterprise from Banja Luka, and as such, they could not be beneficiaries of incentive funds.

The suspect, through the committed criminal offense, caused material damage to the budget of the Republic of Srpska in the amount of approximately 5,242,760.00 KM, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS.
