DF warns: Crime has been rampant in the TK Employment Service for years

Crime, nepotism in hiring, and mobbing of disobedient workers have been rampant for years in the TK Employment Service, all under the patronage of political parties and power brokers. Over the past 20 years, an army of public administration has been created that is very powerful and influential and ready to destroy people just to maintain power, the DF of TK announced.

Citizens of Tuzla Canton, let us bravely move against the powerful, against arrogant rule, against injustice. Had we done this earlier, we would have saved one life. How many more lives are at risk? The TK Anti-Corruption Commission, in September 2015, forwarded a report on crime, nepotism, and mobbing in the TK Employment Service to the TK Prosecutor's Office, but it was too late.

We will list only a few actions that Alma pointed out:

1. Properties owned by the Service, initially valued at approximately 8,000,000 KM in 2013, were given a value of approximately 1,500,000 KM, only to have the estimated value rise to approximately 4,000,000 KM in 2015. The goal was to reduce the value of properties at the "Hendek" location in Tuzla so they could be sold on the open market.

2. Over 18 months, the director hired 15 new employees without a competition. The new employees are predominantly related to each other and connected through party affiliations. The Management Board adopted a new Rulebook on Work in February 2015, which provided for a larger number of employees with higher coefficients.

3. The number of department heads in the Service increased at that time, and only suitable individuals were placed in positions. Those who were unsuitable and those who pointed out crime were punished. For example, Alma Šehović was transferred to Kladanj, and later to Lukavac. Jasna Bedak was transferred to an archivist position.

4. The former director, Šemso Berbić, among others, hired the following individuals: - Spomenka Iljkić, wife of Ante Iljkić, secretary of the Cantonal Ministry for Refugees, - Miralem Softić, brother of Management Board President Emir Softić, - Mirela Kravić, daughter-in-law of Edib Kravić, director of RTV TK, and in return, Edib Kravić hired the director's daughter Arina Berbić at RTV TK, - Halil Mujić, brother of Enes Mujić, former cantonal prime minister, - Sanela Rešidović, daughter of Minister Sead Hasić, - Amela Zahirović, daughter of Ramiz Zahirović, then SDP deputy in the federal parliament, - Sadmira Mehinović, relative of Sead Čaušević, former prime minister.

5. The new director, Senad Muhamedbegović, appointed advisors to himself, including former director Šemso Berbić and Sulejman Gutić. Among others, the director hired the following: - Rusmir Hasanović, son-in-law of Senad Muhamedbegović, - Berisa Ahmetović, daughter of the President of the RVI TK Association, Hasanović Fahrudin, known as "Beli", - Jasmina Husić Mujić from Banovići, Mahmutović Ibrahim from Sapna, Azur Avdić and Mešić Suada, based on party affiliation.

6. Salary payments for the period January-March 2015 were made outside applicable legal regulations, as planned funds under the Decision on Temporary Financing were exceeded, all due to newly hired workers.

7. The procurement of a unified information equipment system in 2014 was carried out in such a way that equipment worth 140,000 KM was not installed, because the Federal Employment Institute had planned 200,000 KM for the same equipment in 2015. The DF Club in the TK Assembly demands the following: - that the TK Government immediately dismiss the director, advisors, and management board of the TK Employment Service, - that the TK Assembly schedule an emergency session with a single agenda item: "Discussion on employment in the TK public sector and mobbing of workers," - that the TK Prosecutor's Office conclude the investigation in the TK Employment Service as soon as possible, the DF TK statement reads.
