DF calls on RS authorities to revoke decoration from Karadžić, an inspiration for crime and terrorism

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Democratic Front calls on the Government of Republika Srpska to revoke the decoration awarded to Radovan Karadžić in 2016 in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

"It is obvious that the Hague convict Radovan Karadžić is an inspiration to extremists and disturbed minds who committed a horrific crime in New Zealand. We believe that the RS authorities have an opportunity to show by this act that they do not propagate the ideology of hatred, which is currently inspiring individuals like the terrorist from New Zealand.

If, however, the RS authorities do not wish to revoke the decoration from Radovan Karadžić, they will only show that their worldview stands on the other side of civilization. In this regard, it would be correct if the RS authorities, like the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, unequivocally condemned the aforementioned terrorist act, regardless of whether this move would please the followers and admirers of Radovan Karadžić," the DF announced.
