DF: We welcome the international community's support for the CEC, with HDZ only Russia

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Democratic Front welcomes the stance of the High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko, Head of the OSCE Mission in BiH Kathleen Kavalec, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Khaldoun Sinn, Deputy US Ambassador to BiH Ellen Germain, and Deputy British Ambassador to BiH Ruth Wiseman regarding strong support for the Central Election Commission and support for the conduct of local elections in Mostar and throughout BiH.

"It is evidently perfectly clear to the representatives of the international community that the complaints made by HDZ and their president Dragan Čović have no democratic or legal basis, which is also clearly expressed through the stance of international officials in BiH. However, it is even clearer that the Russian Federation, which is certainly not interested in conducting democratic and free elections in BiH, remains on the side of HDZ's wishes and undemocratic demands," stated the Democratic Front.
