DF welcomes Dan Preda's activity: RS authorities will not be able to glorify genocide in peace

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Democratic Front welcomes and fully considers justified the activity of the European Parliament rapporteur for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cristian Dan Preda, who submitted a query to the European Commission regarding the entity of RS concerning the continuation of genocide denial in Srebrenica and the continued institutional glorification of genocide, it was announced today from that political party.

"On the other hand, we consider the reactions of officials from the smaller BiH entity to the query submitted by Dan Preda to the European Commission to be extremely inappropriate. Their demand to European officials to be left alone to glorify genocide and to insult the victims of crimes in peace is impossible. Despite all the immorality of such a demand, it essentially has one positive consequence. Namely, the glorification of genocide, which is institutionally carried out by the RS authorities, still causes caution in the European and world public. Therefore, we welcome that caution through the activity of the European Parliament rapporteur," stated the DF.
