DF: HDZ and SNSD's announced election obstruction has political support from Russia

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Democratic Front believes that the joint announcements by HDZ and SNSD to block the election process are an attack on the constitutional order and an attempt to suspend one of the fundamental rights of citizens, to elect their representatives in power in free and democratic elections.

"HDZ and SNSD have the option to exercise their right not to have their candidacies verified in the next elections as political parties interested in the democratic process of electing authorities, but they do not have the right to sabotage the aforementioned process.

We believe that the announced obstruction of elections by HDZ and SNSD has political support from Russia, whose interference in the electoral process of democratic countries is already known to the domestic and international public. We want to believe that official Zagreb does not stand behind these announcements," stated the DF.
