DF: CIK must react to SDA's "tribute" in public companies

After the internet portal Žurnal published a scandalous letter from SDA signed by Secretary General Amir Zukić, which directly requests donations from individuals and public companies for the upcoming elections, we once again see all the unscrupulousness of a party that swears by the state, but in reality, robs at every step, the Democratic Front announced.

- This is a textbook example of political pressure and institutional and systemic robbery of public companies, or as people would say, a classic "tribute". In Zukić's letter, SDA refers to compliance with the law on financing political parties, and this very law explicitly prohibits any form of donation from public companies to political parties. With this, SDA only continues the practice it had in 2014, collecting funds for the election campaign in the same way.

All of this shows that SDA's only goal is the enrichment of individuals from their ranks, all at the expense of the property created by all citizens of BiH. With this example, SDA confirms that it is a party that, instead of building state institutions, systematically robs this very state and its citizens. For more than 20 years, we have been hostages of convicted criminals and swindlers from SDA structures who have been robbing and selling the state for years.

In this difficult moment for Bosnia and Herzegovina, all they are interested in is financial gain, regardless of the consequences. We believe that, at the very least, the Central Election Commission should take notice of this case, not to mention the judicial institutions.

As before, DF insists on consistent respect for the laws and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will continue to do so in the future – to do everything to oppose such phenomena, and to always fight for the good of the citizens and the state of BiH - the DF statement said.
