DF: Further harmonization of the budget is an HDZ mechanism for blocking elections

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Democratic Front believes that delegates in the House of Peoples from the HDZ, through the amendment procedure and related manipulations, have consciously pushed for the budget proposal to be sent for further harmonization, thus taking another step in prolonging the elections with the aim of preventing them.

"It is clear that the intention was to create different versions of the budget proposal for institutions in the two parliamentary chambers with the aim of further harmonization," stated the DF's reaction.

The mere postponement of the budget adoption, which in this case cannot be adopted by mid-August, proves that the HDZ's ultimate intention, through the mentioned delays, is to completely prevent the elections.

"This shows that the HDZ is continuously attacking the democratic institution of elections and deepening the political crisis for its own party interests, to the detriment of citizens and the state," they added.
