Dević, who was in the car with the deceased Šabić (23): I'm sorry I couldn't save you!

Yesterday, a funeral prayer was held for Muhamed Šabić (23), the young man who tragically died in a horrific traffic accident in the Kahve neighborhood of Breza, reports the Patria news agency.

The only son, mother Fadila and father Ahmo, buried him in the family cemetery in Dragoradi. As a reminder, Šabić died when the Audi car he was in collided with a truck from the construction company "Termobeton" near the company's headquarters in Kahve.

With him in the car was Vahid Dević, who was injured but managed to attend the funeral prayer. During the very sad farewell, Dević was almost speechless, crying for his best friend.

- Brother, you left me too early. I still can't believe you're gone. You were always there for me, giving me advice, support, protecting me. Everything is going through my mind now. The first outings, our hanging out, our fooling around, the diesel guys, the company guys, it's all spinning in my head now. We weren't afraid of anyone... We tried to create something, to make people talk about us. You never insulted anyone, never did anything bad to them. You know I told you to take care of your girlfriend. To calm down in some ways and work, and you listened to me... You listened to me every time. I'm sorry I couldn't save you, my brother... You will remain in my heart. God always chooses the best... Save me a spot up there... Love you, your Giška – Dević wrote in a farewell letter to his friend.
