Detour Discotheque to become Europe's highest nightclub in May 2024

(Patria) - Detour Discotheque is a pop-up nightclub that brings good music to remote and beautiful parts of the world.

In 2022, it was briefly open in the small fishing village of Thingeyri in Iceland, and this year it visited the island of Coll in Scotland.

And in 2024, it will "climb" to the top of the mountain, specifically to the Swiss Alps.

From May 10 to 12, Detour Discotheque will be open in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, which looks like a backdrop for a romantic film - surrounded by high mountain peaks, numerous waterfalls, and greenery.

The exciting music project by DJ and journalist Jonny Ensall will be hosted at three mountain locations.

On May 10, 2024, the party will take place on the huge terrace near the Birg mountain peak, which rises 2,684 meters above sea level.

The next day, the disco will be open at the top of Shilthorn in the Piz Gloria restaurant, which rises 2,970 meters, thus becoming the highest nightclub in Europe, according to TimeOut magazine.

This is a place with spectacular views, well-known among fans of the James Bond series, as the 1969 film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" was filmed here.

Detour Discotheque will round off its Swiss adventure in the Trinkhall am Kleinen Rugen hall in Interlaken with a relaxed session, reports Punkufer.hr.

Tickets for the three-day event can be purchased for around 313 euros on the official Detour Discotheque website, and they also include cable car passes, making it easier to reach Europe's highest disco.
