(Patria) - The investigation at Vilsonovo šetalište in Sarajevo has concluded, where 39-year-old Anel Kršo from Sarajevo was killed by gunfire in the afternoon, reports Faktor.
The suspect for the murder, Nihad Sarajkić (32), has been arrested and taken for criminal processing to the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
After firing 16 shots at Kršo, Sarajkić himself called the police, waited for them, and surrendered.
The motives for this crime are still being determined. There are some speculations that the deceased, who recently got out of prison, was threatening Sarajkić, leading to today's shooting, however, no one has officially confirmed this yet.
The suspect for the murder is unknown to the public, unlike the deceased Kršo, who is a repeat offender, although after serving his sentence for the attempted murder of Benjamin Delić in 2013, for which he was sentenced to 18 months in prison along with the deceased Alen Grbo, it seemed he had withdrawn from criminal activities.

His name reappeared two years ago when the BiH Prosecutor's Office, along with two other individuals, charged him with smuggling.
It was stated at the time that he, along with accomplices, had been smuggling supplements, avoiding customs duties at the border.
According to statements from some witnesses who were present at the scene of the shooting today, Kršo and Sarajkić were allegedly sitting together in a cafe, then argued while crossing the bridge over the Miljacka river, after which Sarajkić opened fire.
What unsettled accounts they had will be revealed by the investigation.
However, it is concerning that the shooting occurred on the busiest promenade in Sarajevo, where a large number of citizens, especially children, are present every day.
