Details of the tragedy in Stup: 33-year-old Sarajevan died while installing a crane on a forklift

(Patria) - The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Sarajevo Canton (KS) announced today details of the tragic accident in which a worker died yesterday in the former "Energoinvest" complex in the Sarajevo settlement of Stup.

The MUP announced that the Ilidža Police Department (PU) was informed yesterday at 9:47 AM that a worker had been injured in Tvornička Street while installing a crane on a forklift.

33-year-old worker died in Sarajevo settlement of Stup

(Patria) - Near the Energoinvest building in the Sarajevo settlement of Stup, a work accident occurred today in which one person lost their life. MUP KS spokesperson Mersiha Novalić confirmed that the tragic incident occurred within the company premises.

The doctor from the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service pronounced the worker dead at the scene. The deceased is I.K., 33, from Sarajevo.

An investigation was conducted by the duty prosecutor of the KS Prosecutor's Office, members of the MUP KS Police Directorate, authorized court experts in occupational safety, medicine, and mechanical engineering, as well as cantonal labor and occupational safety inspectors.
