Ten dead in Canada shooting, six killed in high school, including the attacker

(Patria) - Ten people, including the suspected attacker, died after a shooting in Tumbler Ridge, in the Canadian province of British Columbia, Reuters reported.

Six people were found dead in a high school, two more people were found dead in a residential building that police believe is connected to the incident, and another person died on the way to the hospital, CBC News reported, adding that the death of the suspected attacker, who was also found in the school building, was previously confirmed. He committed suicide.

Another 25 people are being assessed for injuries at a local medical center, CBC reported, citing police.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney cancelled his participation in the Munich Security Conference.
