Democratic Front: Attack on Komšić is part of SDA and SBB's dirty campaign

The Democratic Front issued a press release denying the allegations published in today's issue of "Dnevni avaz" about an alleged argument between DF president Željko Komšić and candidate for mayor of Centar municipality Samer Rešidat, reports the BH News Agency Patria. We are transmitting the denial in its entirety.

- Regarding the dirtiest, most disgusting, petty, primitive slander that has appeared in the Sarajevo press that calls itself the "most circulated" - we want to emphasize the following:

Not a single sentence or statement, especially the "quote" from President Komšić - is true.

We will seek satisfaction for such an attack on the integrity of the Democratic Front president, of course, where it belongs - in court.

However, we are aware of the weight of the words written and the intentions, very transparent, to try with all their might until October 2nd to degrade the authority of both the president and the party he leads, which, according to all relevant indicators, is among the most principled political options, as confirmed by the growing number of our members and sympathizers in the field, across BiH.

It is, of course, no coincidence that our candidate for mayor of Sarajevo's Centar municipality - Samer Rešidat - was included in the same disgusting story. It is obvious that a big fight awaits this municipality, that the infamous SDA-SBB coalition is trying with all its might to install Nedžad Ajnadžić in that position, so it was necessary, not harmful, to write that, you know, even the party president who nominated him doesn't trust Rešidat. Lie after lie!

That's where the rabbit is hidden!

If we are already a "minor party", as Bakir and Fahro and Dragan call us from time to time, why then so much fear of us? From such and similar writings (in a newspaper where only the "owner" doesn't know he's former, they'll tell him as soon as the elections are over, and the main word is held by the "commander-in-chief in the famous SDA-SBB coalition"), to the tearing down of our posters and billboards across BiH (from the same kitchen), or attempts to bribe and intimidate our members to "change jerseys" and voting intentions because they will lose their jobs... Why, if we are unimportant? They know well that we are not.

They also know what these same decades-long rulers have given to this country and its people, to whom they swear, especially before elections, and proclaim themselves their protectors - and what they have "grabbed" for themselves and their families, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, party members who truly operate on the principle: One man, one party, one vote, one boss! Let them and these paid journalistic lackeys be aware that the arguments are on our side, that we know about most of their tricks, even those that are, but not for long, buried in the drawers of various courts and prosecutor's offices. We did not want to build our campaign on that story but on our own values and projects that we offer to citizens in the local community. Obviously, we will have to change course, at least a little, and bring to light much of the dirty laundry that this famous trio keeps as far away from the public eye as possible.

We tell the citizens, party members, and sympathizers once again that such writings and accusations will not deter us. We will go to the end, whatever it takes!
