Delimustafić arrested on a bus, Lejla Fazlagić placed under precautionary measures, Škrijelj still at large

Alija Delimustafić was arrested on Wednesday in the afternoon hours in Croatia, specifically in Karlovac, based on an internal and international warrant issued by the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton in cooperation with Interpol. Spokesperson of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić, told Patria that Delimustafić was arrested on a bus at 6:40 PM traveling on the Rijeka-Zagreb route.

- During the day, he will be examined by an investigating judge of the Karlovac Court, after which a decision on further measures will be made - said Bavčić.

She also confirmed that on December 9, Lejla Fazlagić, a suspect in the Pravda case, was arrested in Rijeka. Precautionary measures were imposed on her.

- Based on an international warrant, the suspect Lejla Fazlagić was deprived of her liberty in Rijeka on December 9. After being examined, the competent judge in Rijeka imposed precautionary measures on her, which include regular reporting to the local police. A request for the extradition of Lejla Fazlagić to Bosnia and Herzegovina was sent to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia yesterday - said Bavčić, adding that the search for the suspect Juso Škrijelj is still ongoing.

Those arrested in the Pravda operation are suspected of the criminal offense of organized crime, in connection with the criminal offenses of abuse of position, violation of law by a judge, money laundering, and fraud.
