Delimustafić arrested after visiting Lejla Fazlagić

Fugitive Alija Delimustafić, after his arrest in Karlovac, agreed to simplified extradition to the Bosnian judiciary. He was arrested on a warrant on a bus traveling on the route Rijeka-Zagreb.

Given that Delimustafić was a „free“ man when the Council of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo decided not to extend his custody or impose any restraining measures, he obviously crossed the border with a passport bearing his name.

Earlier, Lejla Fazlagić, a former judge of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, who is under investigation for criminal activities and irregularities related to land purchases, had already taken refuge in Croatia. This is the same affair in which Delimustafić and Juso Škrijelj were arrested, along with a number of individuals involved in these suspicious activities.

According to Patria's findings, Delimustafić moved to Croatia and immediately headed to Rijeka, precisely to Lejla Fazlagić. This was a risky move because Fazlagić is under constant surveillance and must report to the competent MUP in Rijeka every two days. As confirmed by the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, she was arrested on December 9 and precautionary measures were imposed on her.

Delimustafić was recognized in Rijeka and, after leaving this city, was arrested on a bus traveling towards Zagreb.
