Delegation of MUP KS pays tribute to murdered police officer Muhidin Pivodić

On the second anniversary of the murder of police officer Muhidin Pivodić, who was brutally killed by Anel Ćemo out of revenge because the police had confiscated his driver's license the day before, a delegation from the MUP KS laid flowers at the scene of his death and at the Bare cemetery, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Minister Nermin Pećanac and Police Commissioner Vahid Ćosić, in the presence of police officers of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, family members, the president of the Municipal Council of the municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, and representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Sarajevo, laid flowers at the scene of the death of police officer Muhidin Pivodić.

We remind you that Pivodić was securing the Orthodox Church of the Temple of Saint Nicholas in Reljevo in his car when Ćemo fired a burst from an automatic rifle. Pivodić succumbed to his injuries. Ćemo was sentenced to 34 years in prison.
