
BRUSSELS, (Patria) - BiH Minister of Defence Marina Pendeš led the delegation of the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces of BiH which, as part of the state delegation, participated in the NATO Summit in Brussels on July 12, 2018.
In addition to Minister Pendeš, the delegation of the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces of BiH included the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Lieutenant General Senad Mašović, and the Head of the Military Part of the BiH Mission to NATO, Brigadier Dr. Jasmin Čajić.
The meeting was held at the level of heads of state in the format of the "Resolute Support" mission, which, in addition to NATO member states and Afghanistan, was attended by partner countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of the EU and the UN.
This meeting discussed the political and military situation in Afghanistan, the development of Afghan security forces, the continuation of financial support for Afghan security forces, confirming the commitment of allies and partners to continue providing support to Afghanistan, as well as confirming an increase in contributions to the "Resolute Support" mission.
