Delegation from BiH at Economic Forum in Washington

The Center for Transatlantic Relations SAIS at John Hopkins University in Washington is organizing the Second Transatlantic Economic Forum today, which includes a delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina, confirmed Andy Mullins from the SAIS Center for the BH News Agency Patria.

The focus of this second economic forum is on projects in North African countries.

- We have a large delegation from Mauritania, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and Libya, as well as representatives of the US military industry, investors, particularly in the field of agricultural development, and representatives of government financial institutions - Mullins, the forum's project manager, told us.

He confirmed that Saša Toperić, a member of the Center for Transatlantic Relations, will present an important award to Senator Jim Inhofe on this occasion.

- Senator Jim Inhofe, chairman of the powerful Senate Armed Services Committee and a friend of our SAIS center. He will receive the award for his activities, especially in Africa, where he is one of the most influential people in our government. Significant businessmen from Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and the USA are also participating in the forum - Mullins concluded.

Congressman Aderholt, a member of the Helsinki Committee in the US Congress, the Committee on Defense, and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and also a member of the National Prayer Breakfast Committee, sent a video message to the organizers of the forum, which lasts until June 4.

From BiH, Mujo Selimović (MIMS) and Esad Pelidija (Energoinvest) are participating in panel discussions at this forum, and as we learn, representatives of the defense industry Enver Mujezinović from the Federal Directorate for the Defense Industry, as well as Jusuf Hubjer and Munevera Fočo from Unis-Ginex Goražde, will participate in the forum's work.
