This morning at 8:15 AM, the Sarajevo - Konjic road at Ivan-Sedlo was unblocked after an agreement was reached between demobilized soldiers and police officers.
The soldiers told N1 that they would not give up on their demands despite the special forces and the possible use of force, but only a few minutes later they moved off the road, allowing vehicles to proceed after nearly 20 hours of waiting.
"The night was cold, we lit a fire, but we endured. This morning around 7:30 AM, police cars arrived and announced that force would be used. We do not want conflicts between us and the police. These are soldiers who defended the country, and this will not end. We plan to stay here indefinitely. We have neither transportation nor food. We are effectively on the street. We have people from Bugojno, Vakuf, and Konjic. I am with a team from Sarajevo and have no way to get back," said one of the protesters, Amir Sultan.
