PD PSBiH Session Today: BiH Budget Still Pending?

(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH is expected to hold a session today, where, among other things, the Bill on the Budget of Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2021 is to be considered. However, political representatives from RS announced yesterday that they will not participate in the work of BiH institutions.

If they follow through with their announcement, the BiH Budget will remain pending. According to the proposed budget, total revenues, receipts, and financing of BiH institutions in 2021 amount to KM 1,027,100,000, which is a three percent increase compared to the previous year's budget, while servicing BiH's external debt amounts to KM 843,905,504, an increase of five percent compared to the BiH institutions' budget for 2020.

Also on the agenda is the Bill on Amendments to the Election Law of BiH, proposed by MPs Nermin Nikšić, Saša Magazinović, Nada Mladina, and Zukan Helez, and representatives are expected to consider the request by MPs Jasmin Emrić, Saša Magazinović, and Damir Arnaut to consider the Bill on Prevention of Conflict of Interest in BiH Institutions under an urgent procedure.
