Day of Remembrance for the Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo

(Patria) - The Assembly and Government of Sarajevo Canton, together with the Association of Parents of Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995, are organizing a commemorative event on May 5, 2023, at 11:00 AM on the plateau of the ARIA shopping center.

The Assembly of Sarajevo Canton has declared May 5th as the Day of Remembrance for the Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo during the period 1992-1995.

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić, will also lay flowers.

Otherwise, due to ongoing works on the pedestrian path, access to the memorial to the murdered children of besieged Sarajevo 92-95 is blocked, which is why the commemorative program will be held on the plateau of the shopping center.
