
By laying flowers, reciting Fatiha, and observing a minute of silence, the anniversary of the death of six Sarajevo citizens, three of whom were children, was marked today in Sarajevo, at ZAVNOBiH Square at number 10, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
On this occasion, on behalf of the City of Sarajevo, city councilors Enes Husejnović and Hasan Hodžić paid tribute and laid flowers at the site where our fellow citizens were killed. Flowers were also laid by the city councilor, representative of the Association of Parents of Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995, and councilor of the Old Town Municipal Council, Alija Hodžić.
On that tragic day, children Samir Ibrahimagić (born 1983), Enes Muharemović (born 1985), and Adnan Mušanović (born 1977), and three adults Zoran Drndelić, Željko Lovrić, and Rasim Šaškić were killed.
Tribute to the civilian victims of the war was also paid by the families of the murdered, representatives of the Association of Parents of Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995, the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, and citizens. With a minute of silence and reciting Fatiha, they remembered September 20, 1992, when a shell fired from enemy positions killed innocent citizens of the city of Sarajevo.
