Veterans' organizations from Žepče paid tribute on March 1, Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence Day, to all members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Žepče area who gave their lives defending the country after the conflicts that erupted following BiH's declaration of independence from Yugoslavia, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Representatives of veterans' organizations also visited Željezno Polje, which was hit by powerful landslides last year, and where during the aggression against BiH from 1992 to 1995 some of the bloodiest battles were fought between the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Army of Republika Srpska, and at one point the Croatian Defence Council also turned against the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
