Has the murder of Adnan Salčin, son of war hero Ramiz Salčin, been solved?

On Wednesday, March 2, 2016, it marks one year since the murder of Adnan Salčin, son of war hero Ramiz Salčin, and his killer has still not been brought to justice, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

We recall, the murder of Salčin occurred on March 2, 2015, at the intersection of X Transferzala and Herman Gmeiner streets around 4:00 PM. He stopped his car, a Lancia with Italian license plates, before a pedestrian crossing, and another car pulled up alongside his. The killer fired two bullets at him, and he died at the scene from his injuries.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton and a prosecutor from the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton. However, very soon the investigation was taken over by the Federal Police Administration, and then by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).

As the Patria agency learns, although initially it was said that the car the killer arrived in was a dark blue Golf 3, according to witness statements, it turned out to be a different make and color of car, in which four people were present.

From reliable sources, we learn that the suspect for the murder of this young man is a citizen of Serbia and is located in that country, but has still not been prosecuted.
