Did Ana Babić take 100,000 euros and defraud SBB?

According to unconfirmed information, Sarajevo police are investigating the purchase of votes in the case of an unknown person, based on a report filed by a BiH parliamentary party, writes the Patria news agency.

The case allegedly involves SBB cantonal representative Ana Babić and a delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament from the Croat Club.

SBB is unwilling to make any statements until they investigate the entire case themselves.

SBB had promised to support HDZ candidate Josip Merdžo for election to the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

However, HDZ 1990 candidate Martin Raguž passed. Ana Babić allegedly refused to submit proof of voting, so SBB believes she did not follow the party's decision.

She allegedly took 100,000 euros from Jerko Ivanković Lijanović for her vote, which she gave to Raguž.

Had Merdžo entered the BiH House of Peoples instead of Raguž, HDZ BiH would have had all five delegates, which, along with Milorad Dodik's three delegates, would have constituted a general majority in this state-level house.
