SARAJevo, (Patria) - Dario Sandić, a member of the Main Board of SDP BiH, who has previously warned about illegalities in work, reacted to the dismissal of the indictment by the competent Prosecutor's Office in the Zora Vidović case.

"In April 2018, we filed a criminal complaint against Zora Vidović, then director of the Tax Administration of Republika Srpska, and today's Minister of Finance of Republika Srpska. The corrupt prosecution is dismissing the complaint without explanation, even though the accused is protecting those who have damaged the budget of Republika Srpska by 250 million KM. We have filed an appeal and will continue, we will put an end to criminals and their mentors!", stated Sandić, as announced on the official website of SDP BiH.

Sandić adds that SDP BiH reported Vidović, while she was still in her previous position, because she did nothing to collect 250 million marks from tax debtors in Republika Srpska. The report accuses Vidović, as the head of the Tax Administration of Republika Srpska, of: Failure to report a criminal offense or perpetrator under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska, Abuse of position of a responsible person under Article 249 of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska, and Abuse of official position or authority under Article 315 of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska.

"Zora Vidović from Srbac has been the director of the Tax Administration of Republika Srpska since 2011. She is at the head of the institution responsible for calculating and collecting taxes. According to the data from the Tax Administration itself, which she heads, as of March 1, 2018, the debt of taxpayers amounts to approximately 250,000,000 KM", it was stated in the criminal complaint against the current Minister of Finance.

Given, the report further states, that this information was published by the Tax Administration of Republika Srpska and a table was compiled with the names of debtors and the amounts of their debts, it is clear that Zora Vidović, as the director of the Tax Administration, was aware of the non-calculation, non-payment, and non-reporting of taxes by precisely named and known legal and natural persons, and these actions constitute a criminal offense.

"By such conduct, the accused, through her inaction, enabled third parties to gain unlawful property benefits. Also, she is aware that tax debtors have not reported millions in taxes, and has done nothing to collect these claims - neither reported them for criminal offenses, despite being aware of them, nor used her legal authority to collect taxes from precisely known individuals.", concluded Sandić.
