(Patria) - At the request of the Armed Forces of BiH, the Mountain Rescue Association of BiH has launched a rescue operation on Čvrsnica.
"Rescuers and doctors from GSS in BiH, with the help of rescuers from the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS) and private snowmobile owners, have set off towards the Pločno peak to assist a member of the BiH Armed Forces who requires urgent medical assistance and evacuation," stated GSS in BiH.
The operation involves 15 rescuers from 4 GSSuBiH rescue services: HGSS Mostar, HGSS Posušje, GSS Široki Brijeg, and GSS Srebrenik, as well as the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service. The operation is led by Filip Bago, head of HGSS Posušje.
