(Patria) - BiH Presidency Chairperson Željka Cvijanović met today in Istanbul with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
This visit by Cvijanović to Turkey comes amid a serious political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and seven days after her colleague from the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, also visited Istanbul.
During the meeting with Bećirović behind closed doors on March 14, the Turkish President stated that the unity and territorial integrity of BiH have "fundamental importance", calling separatist approaches in the country unacceptable.
Erdoğan also held talks with SDA President Bakir Izetbegović, reiterating his support for the integrity, stability, and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
