Montenegrin transported weapons and explosives to terrorists in France for 2,000 euros

The Bavarian State Prosecutor's Office has charged Vlatko Vučelić (51), a Montenegrin from Podgorica, with "aiding terrorists in preparing a serious act of endangering the state of France," reports the Patria News Agency.

The Prosecutor's Office is certain that both the weapons and explosives found with Vučelić were intended for a series of ISIL attacks. Vučelić's trial begins tomorrow before the State Security Chamber at the Regional Court in Munich, and he has so far remained silent.

The State Prosecutor's Office suspects the Montenegrin knew he was transporting dangerous cargo and was to receive 2,000 euros for the job.

Vučelić was arrested on November 5 last year on the Salzburg - Munich highway in a car full of weapons and explosives.

In a specially made compartment of a white Golf, German police found seven "Zastava" and Kalashnikov assault rifles, two hand grenades and 200 grams of TNT explosives, two semi-automatic pistols, and a Magnum revolver. Vučelić's final destination was Paris, where terrorists killed 130 people in several synchronized attacks on November 13.

An address in a Paris apartment was saved in the navigation system of Vučelić's car, and phone numbers of people to whom Vučelić was supposed to hand over the weapons and explosives in Paris were also found and recorded.
