Thick black smoke loomed over Sarajevo's Stup neighborhood, and as we learn, the building of a pre-war sock factory was burning, reports the Patria news agency.
The Sarajevo Fire Brigade confirmed that a fire had occurred, and that their members managed to localize the fire.
- Firefighting teams on the ground responded immediately upon the report and the fire was successfully extinguished. - they said from the Fire Brigade.
It is an abandoned old building, and as we unofficially learn, the cause of the fire could be the burning of tires, which is often done in this area by members of the Roma population.
