Crnadak: We must not allow BiH to be declared a terrorist haven

Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak, appearing on the show Dan uživo on N1 television, said that BiH must not be allowed to be declared a terrorist haven.

When asked by journalists to comment on the fact that in recent weeks Bosnia and Herzegovina has been the subject of comments by the President of the Czech Republic, the President of Croatia, and the Austrian Minister Kurz, who in their statements characterized BiH as a terrorist threat, Crnadak said that "we must all be on the same page, which is that we do not allow ourselves to be declared a terrorist haven, but at the same time, we must not lull ourselves into thinking that there is no danger of terrorism here."

Crnadak said that BiH is a country that had a significant number of people in foreign battlefields, but that the number of departures to those battlefields has now decreased.

- It was practically stopped last year, but the danger still exists - he added.

When asked about the interests of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović in frequently mentioning BiH in the context of terrorists, Crnadak said that it is best to ask the Croatian President.

- I would not delve into what she thinks when she says something. We need to focus all our strength, in the best possible cooperation of services and agencies at all levels in BiH, to ensure security for all our citizens in RS and FBiH - said Crnadak, NAP reports.
