Crnadak: We are exposed to the danger of terrorism, but no more than other countries

Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak held a press conference where he commented on the statement of Czech President Miloš Zeman that BiH could become a base for terrorists in Europe, reports the Patria agency.

Crnadak emphasized that there is a danger of terrorism and that we must be aware of it, but not in the way Zeman spoke.

- We often face exaggerated assessments of the danger of terrorism in BiH. If you make a statement similar to this one, someone will ask you if there is no danger? We are under attack and we are one of the targets. We have people returning from foreign battlefields and there is a danger of terrorism, but it is not a danger of the kind that would single us out – Crnadak stated.

Minister Crnadak emphasized that an assessment like the one given by Zeman is not valid at all and that one should not rush in reactions.

- We are not some base where something terrible can happen at any moment. We have approximately the same level of danger as in all other European countries – Crnadak said.

Crnadak also emphasized that BiH is close to reaching an agreement on the Transport Community.

- We have very little time left. If we do not adopt it, the money intended for us will be allocated to other countries – Crnadak stated.

Crnadak added that the adoption of the Transport Community is a test of the seriousness of domestic politicians, testing our readiness to join the EU.

He also added that Dodik's announcement of a referendum on joining NATO in Republika Srpska is unnecessary and a completely wrong thing.

Igor Crnadak concluded by saying that the announced visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to BiH is extremely important and that it is good that BiH and Serbia have good relations.
