
(Patria) - First Deputy High Representative and Brčko District Supervisor Louis Crishock met today in Brčko with the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Matthew Valas.
They discussed the current political and security situation in Brčko District, and the efforts of international forces in preserving a secure and stable environment throughout the territory of BiH.
The Supervisor emphasized NATO's persistent support and the significant role this organization plays in preserving security and stability both in Brčko District and in the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Bosnia and Herzegovina's Euro-Atlantic integration is of essential importance for guaranteeing the lasting stability of Brčko District and the country as a whole - stated Crishock.
During his visit to Brčko, Supervisor Crishock also held a meeting with the District's senior officials, where they discussed the status of ongoing reforms and the implementation of key infrastructure projects important for the District's continuous and sustainable development.
