Čović met with Pendeš and Armed Forces generals: BiH's European and NATO path has no alternative

(Patria) - HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović met today with BiH Minister of Defence Marina Pendeš and generals from the Armed Forces of BiH.

Current events in the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH and topics related to international activities within the NATO integration process, activities and projects in the Ministry of Defence, the armed forces and their functioning were discussed.

During the meeting, challenges on BiH's NATO path and modalities for overcoming them, as well as the general socio-political situation and processes in the country were also discussed.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's European and NATO path has no alternative, it was emphasized today at the meeting, as a strategic commitment that should not be politicized or used to gain petty political points.

The merit of our country's existence lies precisely in the fact of the existence of three constituent peoples, and any actions detrimental to one or the other or the third cannot contribute to the stabilization of the situation in this country, nor to the strong commitments and tasks on our Euro-Atlantic and NATO path.
