Čović deceived Izetbegović and Komšić, foisting an extra Serb on them!

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be formed for some time yet, because Čović has betrayed the agreement with Izetbegović and Komšić.  

It would be unconstitutional for the SDA or DF to participate in forming such a Government outside the quota prescribed by the Constitution, a source from the top of the SDA told the Patria news agency.  

The Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina specifies that the FBiH Government has eight Bosniak, five Croat, and three Serb ministerial positions, with the possibility of one position being excluded from the quota of the most numerous people and given to members of the Others.

During the political negotiations between Dragan Čović, Bakir Izetbegović, and Željko Komšić, when all of them gave up some of their previous maximalist demands, a compromise solution was reached: the SDA would provide six Bosniak ministers (plus a Bosniak Prime Minister), the DF three Serb and one Bosniak minister, while the HDZ took it upon itself that, out of the six ministerial positions belonging to it, five would be appointed from the Croat people and one from the Others.

However, at today's session, HDZ's candidate for Minister of Culture and Sports, Zora Dujmović, insisted, on Čović's direct orders, to declare herself as a Serb, rather than from the Others, despite everyone urging her to do so in order to unblock the confirmation of the new government composition.  

If Dujmović had declared herself as being from the Others, then two sessions of the House of Representatives would have had to be held, because the Prime Minister appoints someone from the Others, and then the deputies confirm this at a second session. 

Thus, due to Čović's political game, there is now an extra Serb in the FBiH Government, and he promised exactly that to his partner and friend Milorad Dodik.
