Čović: The position of director of the FBiH Banking Agency belongs to HDZ

HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović announced today in Sarajevo that this party intends to take over the management of the Banking Agency of the Federation of BiH, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Thus, after HDZ BiH placed its cadres at the head of the state and federal ministries of finance, the Indirect Taxation Authority, and the Audit Office of the Institutions of BiH, this party could have another important financial institution in the country under its control.

At the head of the FBiH Banking Agency is currently Zlatko Barš, who, after about twenty years of managing this institution, will step down from that position, and the Government will propose a new director and his deputy.
Čović said that this does not necessarily have to be a cadre of HDZ BiH, but that this position, by some rule, still belongs to this party.

Federal Television reported on Wednesday evening that the position of director of the FBiH Banking Agency is being prepared for Eugen Šuško, one of the seven advisors to the state minister of finance, HDZ member Vjekoslav Bevanda, and the cousin of former Croatian defense minister Gojko Šuško, reports Patria.
